Hannah and Chris are strongly connected by their common love to create. As graphic designers, they know all about taking visions and ideas and turning them into reality. Similarly, for the past few years they’ve worked on a vision for their life together, and turned that into a reality on a rainy Seattle day in October when they became husband and wife at WithinSodo. Their wedding reflected their favorite things to do together, from crafting things to enjoying fabulous food to traveling the world. When they gazed upon each other that day, Hannah saw the kind and accepting man she fell for, and Chris saw that radiant smile and positive woman who stole his heart. Now they get to focus on their vision for this next adventure in their lives as they create their future together.
Hannah and Chris, I could not have wished for a better couple with whom to finish my 2015 wedding season. The smiles on your faces as you tied the knot and enjoyed your celebration were priceless, and I am so glad you’ve found happiness with each other. I wish you all the joy in the world. Thank you for allowing me the honor of photographing your beautiful wedding day. Cheers!
Hannah prepared for her day at Hotel Andra in downtown Seattle. I love starting the day by photographing all of the pretty little details.
Chris and Hannah learned how to do letter press so they could create their save-the-dates. Love the same style for their invitations. I told you they were creative.
Hannah chose a beautiful BHLDN wedding dress from Anthropologie. I had some fun with it in the hotel lobby.
Hannah and her girls had hair and makeup done by Mikhael Twyman. Doesn’t she look stunning.
Meanwhile, the fellas were at WithinSodo toasting Chris before he saw his bride for the first time.
Hannah made Chris a special gift – a book of letters from family – that she wanted him to open before they saw each other.
Chris’ reaction to seeing Hannah was priceless.
After their first look we spent a few more minutes on the covered rooftop for some portraits of just the two of them.
These two simply adore each other. 🙂
Due to the poor weather conditions we had to do bridal party and family photos inside. But I loved being able to incorporate the beautiful Paisley Petals floral design above their ceremony space. Chris and Hannah had fun and attractive details throughout their wedding.
What a neat twist on the guest book.
I loved this idea for saving drinks.
They also had a wall of white lights that created uh-maze-ing bokeh. Be still, my heart!
This Paisley Petals bouquet is killer.
After their ceremony we snuck back up to the rooftop deck for a few more portraits with Seattle in the background.
These two are after my own heart – Gelatiamo ice cream cake?! YES. How decadent is that.
Hannah knows how to get down on the dance floor, no doubt. 😉
These two were all smiles all night. 😀
And I’m going to end with this one – aren’t they a vision. 😉
