I’ve been smiling all day as I’ve worked on these images of my youngest sister, Tessa. When she graduated from high school I took her senior photos, and now, she’s a month away from graduating from Gonzaga University. How time flies…
Tessa was home for Easter weekend and wanted a new headshot, which turned into an hour-long portrait session around our home. She was a bit reluctant at first to go along with my ideas, but I reminded her that the last thing I wanted to do was make her look or feel bad about herself. She soon relaxed and we found our groove – and I simply cannot get over how grown up and beautiful my baby sister is.
I am so proud of you, Tessa Rose, for being a stellar student, for being ambitious and working towards your future, for being adventurous, confident, creative, and simply a good human being. Thank you for letting me document you as you reach this next milestone of your life, for trusting me to make you look good 😉 and by doing that, reinforcing to me why I absolutely love photographing people. Love you millions, boo bear.
T.Rose, your eyes are so purdy. <3
If you’re a college senior and would like to have a portrait session to commemorate this great achievement, feel free to email me and together we’ll design a special photo session just for you!
