When I first met Xiaoru and Jeremy (my buddy Micah of Blue Cake Films, and Jeremy’s best man, introduced us), I could plainly see the admiration they have for each other. They both love to joke and tease, but between that was a comfort and contentment that put smiles on both their faces. On their wedding day, this was multiplied by the excitement of their day and all of their friends and family around them. There was so much joy and sincerity, and I’m honored that I was able to photograph their beautiful day. Congratulations, Xiaoru and Jeremy! I wish you endless happiness. 🙂
Xiaoru looked beautiful in her gown for her tea ceremony.
Xiaoru’s bridesmaids traveled up from Los Angeles and spent the entire day making sure she was happy and looked just perfect.
Xiaoru, you gorgeous bride – I love this image of you!
For bridal party photos, we all piled into a limo and trekked out to Rattlesnake Lake in North Bend. Xiaoru, having recently moved up from LA, had her heart set on images with a natural scenic backdrop. We definitely got the views, and lucked out with the weather that day!
Xiaoru’s dress was so much tulle, she felt like a princess all day!
There’s so much peace and beauty in a quiet moment together.
Xiaoru & Jeremy’s bridal party was a total blast to hang out and work with!
We went into full-on party mode after being at the lake. Jeremy’s family owns Hong Kong Seafood Restaurant, where we headed for their reception.
There were hundreds of people there to celebrate with the newlyweds.
Nice toss, Jeremy! I don’t think I could have posed this any better…so many great expressions here!
The party raged on, but I’ll end with this image of Xiaoru & Jeremy, happy and content in each other’s arms.
Here’s a slideshow of even more images from their wedding day!
