Sarah and Mark met each other at Occidental College in Los Angeles. They fell in love on a cross-country road trip. On a blazing day in September , they tied the knot aboard the beautiful Skansonia on South Lake Union, surrounded by an incredible – and incredibly hilarious – group of family and friends. I had the pleasure of photographing their rehearsal dinner the night before, and between that evening and their wedding day, I heard countless stories about Sarah and Mark that made me not only want to be their friend even more, but made me feel like I’d known them forever. Everyone there had the nicest and funniest things to say about them. Their wedding was beautiful and fun, and I was honored to capture their day.
Sarah and Mark, may your future be full of plenty of love, laughter, and scooter rides.
Sarah and her bridesmaids all wore TOMS. As someone who’s worn some of the most uncomfortable bridesmaid’s shoes ever, I was seriously jealous.
Sarah, you beautiful bride. You look like you might be up to something!
Jordan was in charge of tying all of the fellas’ ties. Sure made Mark look good!
If you don’t know, my favorite color is purple…so I was pretty much in love with the tie and socks ensemble. First look in Gas Works Park.
Way too much studliness for one picture.
These gals were so fun and so sweet.Check out those TOMS and those socks. I mean, c’mon! Love it.I was laughing so hard during this sequence, I’m surprised I even kept them in the frame. 🙂 The ceremony is set on the Skansonia!
Mark may or may not have totally serenaded his future wife…and it was lovely. Not a dry eye in the house.
Total happiness right here!It’s o-fish-allllllll!!!!
Their guest book was individual notecards on which folks could type special messages using Mark’s grandparents’ vintage typewriter.
Who needs cake. Pie is where it’s at!
Handsome young ring bearers.
Louis. Louis, Louis, Louis…this guy… I know him from college, and he is a riot. This speech was fabulous. (As were all the others, duh!)
Party time!
And just in case you weren’t sure if Seattle was beautiful or what…feast your eyes on this view. Wow, I love this city.
